Hair transplantation is the surgical procedure performed to restore the thinned or shed hair to its former appearance with different techniques. Hair transplantation, which is preferred by people who are uncomfortable with their external appearance and feel a lack of self-confidence, regardless of age range, is a common procedure in the world. There are small holes in the front part and the hair transplant area. No leakage occurs on the next day of hair transplantation from these holes. People may experience swelling after the procedure. In the first week after the transplantation, a crusty tissue forms in the area, and this formation can be eliminated by washing the hair regularly. The crusty skin is not a condition that will disturb the person.

Hair transplantation is an operation in which the patients can return to their social life within 2-7 days, depending on the quantity of the application.  The duration of hair transplantation varies according to the transplantation area. Estimated time is on average 4-6 hours. After the procedure, the patient can return home to rest.

At the end of the procedure, a large part of the hair obtained after the transplantation process falls out within a month. After an average of 3 months, new hair is formed. Usually, the change is noticed in the 5th and 6th months. In the following processes, 10% hair growth occurs. In the 9th and 12th months, 90% of the hair comes out. Another important detail that should be known is that the hair growth may be completed in the 15th month due to the slow blood circulation at the top.
