All on 6: The Next Level of Dental Implant Excellence!
All on 6 method is fixed prosthesis treatment. After the detailed image of the lower and upper jaws is taken, 6 implants are placed at a certain angle. In short, this method is an application that can prevent our edentulous patients from undergoing sinus lifting, bone placement or advanced surgery for bone failure. Thanks to this procedure, fixed prosthesis can be made on the same day, and it is a very advantageous method in terms of comfort and time. The front implant is positioned at a 90-degree angle. The rear ones have an angle of 45 degrees. After placing the implant in the area of interest, there can be performed a bridge or crown on it. Then, a temporary prosthesis was made according to the measurement results we obtained from the patient during the treatment planning stage. After about 3 months, permanent prostheses will be fitted.

In order to plan All on 6 treatments, the first session of clinical and radiographic examinations should be done in detail. It should be determined if there is enough bone and gingival tissue for implantation. When it is insufficient, additional procedures might be used to bone addition may involve the addition of bone powder or the transfer of a patient's own bone from another area to the area that needs it, depending on the state of the tissues. It takes 4-6 months for the bone to reach the appropriate quality if these operations are carried out by specialized surgeons. Once this process is finished, applying for implants can be done by supplying the required controls. An impression is obtained to create the temporary prosthesis if all the requirements are met. In order to determine the most ideal treatment that can be done while maintaining the health of the surrounding tissues, radiographs that allow the jaw bones to be examined in detail are used. Detailed measurements are made on the patient's radiography, and the areas where the implants will be applied are determined. In line with the plan created, if there are teeth that need to be extracted on the treatment day, 4 or 6 temporary implants are applied. These transactions can be easily performed under local anesthesia, but it can also be performed with sedation or general anesthesia in patients with high levels of anxiety and fear. On the same day of the implant applications, temporary dental prostheses are attached to the implants. Temporary prostheses enable the implant and bone to fuse in a comfortable manner. At the end of this process, which lasts for an average of 3-6 months, the implants are ready for the making of permanent prostheses.
Some pain may occur after all on 6 treatment. The pain disappears within a few days. Your doctor can give you painkillers to make the process more comfortable for you. At the same time, he starts antibiotic and mouthwash treatment to prevent infection. If you use your medicines without interruption, symptoms such as pain and swelling will pass in a short time. Permanent Prosthesis
The reason for wearing temporary prostheses during All-on-six implant treatment is that the patient can easily perform functions such as chewing and speaking during the fusion process of the implant. During this fusion process, the patient should avoid the consumption of hard foods. Thus, the implants are not overloaded, and the fusion process is completed without any problems. There is no need for such a diet for permanent prostheses. The patient can use their permanent dentures as well as their real teeth.
There are many advantages of placing both the implant and the prosthesis at the same time in this technique, which is applied with six or four implants. One of these advantages is the preservation of the jawbone structure. These methods are also ideal for those who do not want to use removable prostheses or have problems such as nausea. The number of implants used in the all-on six method is less compared to the fixed (porcelain) dental treatments on the implant. However, the process of making prosthesis on the implant requires much more precision and is more costly than porcelain tooth. There is no difference in cost in the total treatment plan. Which treatment method will be applied is not determined according to the cost, but according to the patient's mouth, teeth, and jaw structure. The biggest advantage of this technique over routine implant treatments is that you have teeth that you can use on the same day.
Consumption of extremely hot and cold foods should be avoided in the first 24 hours after treatment. After the treatment, you should follow your doctor's advice on how to maintain your oral hygiene. Your doctor will also inform you about how often you should come for check-ups. It is important that you do not disrupt these controls so that you can switch to the permanent prosthesis at the right time.

Six dental implants are used in the All-On-6 Dental Implant process to build a permanent prosthesis. It serves as anchoring for an overdenture or bridge. To firmly secure false teeth in place, six implants are placed in the lower or higher jawbone.
Because all-on-six dental implants take use of the stronger bone at the front of the jaw, bone grafting, which is frequently an intrusive, time-consuming, and expensive process, is typically not necessary.
The all-on-6 system may be an option for you if you currently have loose, unpleasant dentures, failing bridge and crown work, receding gums, severe bone loss, and traditional dental implants are not an option for you.
Prior to implant implantation, the patient is made comfortable with a local or general anesthesia, making the process itself fairly painless. Following surgery, there can be some soreness and swelling as the anesthetic wears off.
All-on-6 implant surgery is simple and involves little invasion. After your single procedure, which takes about 2 hours per jaw and has a very quick recovery period, you'll be prepared to use your completely functional teeth.
There are four groups of people who shouldn't get dental implants.
Patients who have previously had oral problems or underlying conditions that might make recuperating from implant surgery difficult or unusually slow are not good candidates for All on 6.
The most evident difference between all-on-4 and all-on-6 dental implants is how many implants are placed in the mouth. According to some dentists, the all-on-6 dental approach provides a more solid, permanent basis for the prosthetic dental arch, resulting in a smile that is more comfortable and long-lasting.
Depending on the patient, the total operation often takes a day and lasts between 2-4 hours. Thanks to this same-day operation, patients can grin broadly and go back to work the following day.
Once the patient has fully recovered from having dental implants installed, you can always contact your oral surgeon for more specific instructions, but generally speaking, using an electric toothbrush is entirely safe for your implants.
