Prostate Bi̇opsy in Turkey

Prostate biopsy is the process of removing a piece from the prostate with a needle insertion. In this way, it is understood whether the person has prostate cancer or not. The prostate tissue taken by biopsy is examined by the pathologist under the microscope and then the urologist is informed.
There are two types of prostate biopsy. These are referred to as classical prostate biopsy and fusion prostate biopsy. Prostate biopsy is performed in two ways. These; Transrectal prostate biopsy and transperineal biopsy are divided into two months. In these methods, local anesthesia can be applied to the patient's prostate gland.
